Junior River Ranger Program

The Junior River Ranger Program™ is an inclusive environmental education program targeted at Stage 3 (Year 5 and 6) Primary School students. ​

 

Delivered as an in-school incursion the program provides students with an opportunity to explore both traditional and modern approaches to sustainable fishing and environmental stewardship. 

Program Highlights

  • Interactive Lessons: Hands-on activities that make learning about looking after country fun and engaging.

  • Action-Oriented Learning: Empowers students to play a positive role in protecting the health of our Inland waterways.

  • Curriculum Alignment: Aligned with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) Stage 3 syllabuses (2027+), this program integrates learning outcomes in a single, high-impact session. 

How do the incursions work?

  • Duration: Each incursion runs for 45-minutes.

  • Participant Numbers: Limited to 30 students per incursion.

  • Cost: $220.00 per incursion.
