JUNIOR RIVER RANGER PROGRAM
The Junior River Ranger Program™ is an environmental education program designed for Stage 3 (Years 5 and 6) Primary School students. ​
Delivered as an in-school incursion, the program features age-appropriate lessons that teach students how they can positively contribute to the conservation of inland rivers.

Program Highlights

Interactive Lessons: Hands-on activities that make learning about looking after country fun and engaging.​

Action-Oriented Learning: Empowers students to make a difference by equipping them with practical ideas and knowledge to protect local waterways.​

Curriculum Alignment: Lesson plans meet NSW syllabus outcomes across key learning areas, including new syllabus outcomes for K-6 (2027 onwards).

How do the incursions work?

Duration: Each incursion runs for 60-minutes and limited to 30 students.
