Junior River Ranger Program™

The Junior River Ranger Program™ is an inclusive environmental education program targeted at Stage 3 (Year 5 and 6) Primary School students. ​

 

Delivered as an in-school incursion the program provides students with an opportunity to explore both traditional and modern approaches to sustainable fishing and environmental stewardship.

​Program Highlights

• Interactive Lessons: Hands-on activities that make learning about looking after country fun and engaging.​

• Action-Oriented Learning: Empowers students to play a positive role in protecting the health of Inland waterways.

• ​Curriculum Alignment: The program supports learning across specific Stage 3 syllabus outcomes (2027+) in a single, high-impact session, while also providing cultural perspectives on looking after Country.

How do the incursions work?

• Duration: Each incursion runs for 45-minutes.

• Participant Numbers: Limited to 30 students per incursion.

• ​​Cost: $220.00 per incursion.
