CLASSROOMS ON COUNTRY
POWERING THE NEXT GENERATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL LEADERS
Our Healthy Rivers Workshop is the first of a series of Classrooms on Country™ initiatives we are developing to empower stage 5 (Years 9 - 10) secondary school students to look after country.
This workshop offers an exciting opportunity for participants to be actively engaged in preserving and protecting the health of inland rivers, equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to become custodians of these special places.

Program Highlights:
-
Environmental Insights: An opportunity to learn about key threatening processes impacting river health.
-
Action-Oriented Learning: Empowers students to take meaningful action by implementing practical solutions to protect inland waterways.
-
Looking After Country: Students will be guided and supported to plan and deliver an activity that improves the health of a local waterway.
