Riverside Yarns and Bark Canoes

Riverside Yarns and Bark Canoes provides a unique opportunity for Stage 3 (Year 6) Primary School students to learn about Aboriginal culture on an engaging and informative overnight camp in the heart of Wiradjuri country.

 

Program Highlights:

  • Fun-Filled Activities: Take part in a variety of outdoor activities that are designed to immerse students on country and seamlessly blend cultural learning with adventure.

  • Sleep Over at Lake Cowal Conservation Centre: Enjoy an overnight stay complete with wood-fired pizzas and movie night.

  • Learn About Culturally Significant Sites: Visit Lake Cowal and Manna Mountain. Both sites hold immense cultural significance for Wiradjuri people.
